Verify sqlite connection from the comand line
FYI: I am putting together the resources for a tutorial (not
development) on a slax OS running off of an SD card in an Asus
Netbook. I am using currently available slax modules -
sqlite-3.6.14.2, python-2.5.2 and django-1.1. Although some will
want to recommend getting more current stuff, that is what I would
do on my main development workstation, but for this little netbook,
I would prefer to stick with available slax modules, thus the older
versions. For those that might be interested in how slax modules are
managed, see http://www.slax.org/documentation_use_modules.php
I really won't be able to start the tutorial until I am on vacation
with the netbook and will have limited internet access. So for the
time being I would like to just run some tests to verify that I can
procede with the tutorial - I intend to use "Django 1.0 Web Site
Development" by Hourieh as the guide.
--------------------------------------------------------------
So, first question: Can I from the python command line, verify
sqlite interactivity with django, and if so how?
--------------------------------------------------------------
Other testing recommendations are welcome.
thanks
