Request variables are empty in views.py

I'm sending XML data but request.raw_post_data and POST vars are
empty, whats wrong?

def reply(request):
return HttpResponse("Server raw reply: "+str(request.raw_post_data))

I've copied POST process information form Firebug Net/XHR tab.
