[Rails] Re: How do you get simple_form to use the base class and not the subclass?

Feel free to answer it there. There's also a lot more code and
information about my problem.

I really hope we can solve this. Designing your application using
common OO concepts like inheritance/polymorphism should be allowed,
expected and encouraged by Rails. I really hope Rails has not decided
to forgo inheritance to make their framework simpler.
