[Google Maps API v2] zip code search uses pinpoint not area for zip code
My site with google maps api: http://www.hawaiianvodka.com/locations/
The wordpress plugin used: http://www.viadat.com/store-locator/
When searching by zip code, the results are returned with distances
calculated from a specific point within the specified zip code.
Obviously a zip code applies to a geographic area, not a specific
point. This leads to inaccurate search results when using a smaller
radius for the search, with locations that are actually within the
specified zip code left out of the results due to being too far from
the google specified zip code pinpoint.
Is there a solution to this?
