[android-developers] Issues with alarm during suspend

Hi,

I'm seeing an issue with alarm implementation on honeycomb.
From alarm_suspend():
In case if alarm_time > current_time, then this function return -
EINVAL, which stops device from suspending.

Here I've few question on this:
1. Is user notified with a message when such failure is returned from
this point and asked to set alarm time appropriately?
2. If not, why to return this error?
3. Any ways as the set time already elapsed, why can't this function
keep quite without returning this error?
