[Google Maps API v2] Google Code Playground Help

I am trying to incorporate that into my own customer map. A few issues
im having are, I can't seem to load the map with current user location
(with a custom marker which permanently stays on the map). The map
seems to take only predefined coordinates. Also the search query and
result I want to display it elsewhere on a page rather then rite below
it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
