reqquest.user is not defined

hi there,
i've installed AuthenticationMiddleWare & SessionMidleWare in MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES in setting.py,
but wherever i use (request.user) my web page such as log_in page,is loaded as if it doesn't know request.user => there is no limit to access pages!!

could you please tell me why?
