The immediately obvious thing is that the Galaxy Mini has a QVGA screen, meaning it falls into Android's "small" screen size bucket. If your manifest doesn't explicitly specify android:smallScreens="true" in its supports-screens tag. This is well documented at http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/supports-screens-element.html#small.
