Raghav, I believe you missed the point behind the ;-}
(wink/grin, or, as is more the case here, evil grin). :-)

The idea of installing something without the user's permission (and, most
likely, without their knowledge, either) is appalling to me. It opens up
to so many potential security issues, at least one of which I can't
discuss. Risks I can talk about include things like recording payment
methods used for buying apps, buying products from the Internet using a
debit/credit card, and so on, tracking employees and recording their
actions (as much as possible) with corporate devices, all without their
knowledge or permission, and so on. And while the OP's intentions may
not be devious or malicious, how do you know, unless you know them?
Someone with malicious intentions is not likely to show up here and
announce that...they'll be all smiles and innocent.....[1]
