Difference between DataGrid and Cell Table

Guys whats the difference between DataGrid and Cell Table , other than Data Grid  has fixed header and footer and just the content scrolls . 

I have this problem where I have almost given up on resizing Cell Table  if window resizes .  The problem here is  I am not able to get cell Table height.I tried using getBodyHeight , get Offset etc. nothing seems to be working . 

When I resize my goal is to change the page size based on the  Table Height
