AHA...but your code did not work since scriptBlock is a method of the
Html helper. When I used...
$this->Html->scriptBlock("document.getElementById(\"OpFirstName
\").focus();",
array('inline'=>false, 'safe'=>false));
it placed the code in the <HEAD> so not very useful
