[android-developers] binary not executing ?

I compile an normal C "hello world" program using arm-none-linux-
gnueabi-gcc comiler.
but i am executing generated binary file it prompt me " bash: ./
Sample: cannot execute binary file " error .

When I compile using gcc compiler it generate a.out (default name), it
executing properly.

any body have any idea what I am doing wrong ?
