[android-developers] ListView Row not firing the click event

i am using custom list , it's
l1.setAdapter(new EfficientAdapter(this));

l1.setFocusable(true);
l1.setClickable(true);
l1.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener() {
@Override
public void onItemClick(AdapterView<?> adapter, View
view, int pos, long id) {
Log.i("listview", "clicked1");

Toast.makeText(getApplicationContext(),
"Child ItemClicked " + pos ,
Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();

}
});

it's not working
