GWT RPC mechanism

Hi All,

I have been working on gwt for almost an year now. I was wondering
about how the serialized object is passed over the application layer
of the network.

Does anyone have the idea what type of data is being sent over the
network when we use RPC? Is a an internal implementation that converts
the data into Jason? or is it a byte stream of serialized object?
