Don't set layout_weight=1 on the buttons.
Insert four Views between the buttons to act as spacers, and give those
layout_weight:
<ImageButton..../>
<View
android:layout_width="0px"
android:layout_height="1px"
android:layout_weight="1"/>
<ImageButton.../>
<View
android:layout_width="0px"
android:layout_height="1px"
android:layout_weight="1"/>
etc.
