Ruler tool for GWT maps

Hi GWT/Mappers - Has anybody built a ruler tool to enable measuring
between 2 points *on a map created via GWT* in java? An example or
sources would be appreciated. I suppose either JSNI or GWT version is
ok.. I'm using an older ver. of GWT - 2.1.
