[Google Maps API v2] Parameter hl - return results using language

Hello

I have tried this query:

http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?q=65.404991,12.287828&output=json&sensor=false&hl=en

the address is returned as:
"address": "Sømna, 8920, Norway",

using hl=da (Danish) - I get this:
"address": "Sømna, 8920, Norge",

So I see that the hl=en has impact on the Country only.

Is there a way to get the geo results in English characters only so
that
Sømna will be returned as Somna

please note the second character...
