[Rails] jw_player_helper & Rails 3.1.1

I am trying to get this

gem to work on 3.1.1 and am having a really difficult time. (I got a
similar gem to work in 2.3.8).

Does anyone know how to send a message to the author for help?

Has anyone been successful in getting it to work and are you willing to
share the secrets of what pieces go where.
