Thanks, James...that's what I was hunting and unable to find. I
knew the information was around and that releases were announced,
but extracting it from django-dev mail archives would have taken
a LOT of the aforementioned spelunking.

All this to learn that the job listing requesting 5yr of Django
experience really wants somebody who *created* Django (or they
don't know much about how young Django is...got the same thing in
the early 2000s with recruiters asking for 10yr of Java, created
in '95). And given how fast Django has progressed, I'm not sure
how useful pre-0.96 experience would actually be.
