[Google Maps API v2] GPS Coordinates of the four corners

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Is there any way of getting the GPS coordinates of the 4 corners of
the map?

I cant figure out how to display custom information for stored items
in my personal database based only on a certain map image. Obviously
if data is outside the map coordinates I dont want to show this.

Any help on how to do this would be really appreciated!
