[android-developers] Is it possible to record from the internal mic as well as an external at the same time?

I was looking at the API and was wondering if that was supported. Also is their a documented formula to convert the in coming level to DBs?

I see a ton of Audio level apps so I know it is possible.

My real goal is the compair the sound levels from the internal mic verses the external.
