[android-developers] Getting GPS Coordinates From Postal Address

Is there a way to get the GPS coordinates from a postal address (street, city, state, zip)? 

I have my app working so I can get the address once I have the GPS coordinates, but I want to do the reverse.  Sample code would be a plus.  thanks
