[android-developers] Mediarecorder

Which part of code is actually responsible for encoding the video and writing it to a location on memory? I looked into the code of mediarecorder.java and mediarecorder.h too, but couldnt understand. I couldnt find any code that might be doing the actual work. Any ideas?
