[android-developers] Re: Launching settings from notification bar does not dismiss keyguard

This behavior was on Android 4.0.2 .

On Android 4.0.4, even launching settings from notification bar dismisses the keyguard, which seems logical.

Thanks,

Hi All,

On ICS, when slide lock is set, and there is a valid sim in the phone,
the notification bar is accessible for dragging.

On this notification bar, clicking on any notification launches the
app corresponding to it, by dismissing the keyguard.

However, when we click on Settings icon on the notification bar, It
does not dismiss keyguard.

I want to know if there is specific reason why Settings alone was
designed this way.

Thanks in Advance,
Sarath
