While there is no 'official' Android API, Google Drive is basically
the new name of
Google Docs, so you can use it with the GData API or the google-api-client as
described here:

They even have the mapping available for google-api-client:

http://code.google.com/p/google-api-java-client/wiki/APIs#Drive_API

I haven't used it personally, but there are a few apps that integrate it,
so it should work.
