[Google Maps API v2] Re: Unexpected call to method or property access. IE Error
Finally I fixed it as someone suggested:
rename the map hoster tag ID, do not use "map".

I have been testing a google map on my home computer for over a month.--
All of a sudden. It won't work in Internet Explorer 6. Ive spent
countless hours reading posts in these forums and I have tried
everything that there is to try.Am I losing it, or can Internet Explorer just choose to work one day,
and then not the next? This is driving me crazy since I would like to take the code to a live
web site soon.Right now, I am getting an error in Internet Explorer 6 that says...
Line: 173
Char: 930
Error: Unexpected call to method or property access.
Code: 0
The line and char locations must be the javascript code from the google
servers, since my php file doesn't generate a file that large.Any ideas?
Just in case you are all wondering...
1. I have added the "<!DOCTYPE" and "<html xmlns=" lines at the top of
the file.
2. I have added the "v\:*" to the stylesheet.
3. All of the script code is located outside of any tables.
4. I have tried to "<body onload()".
5. It worked perfectly in Firefox!!!!Thanks for any advice or help you may offer.
Sincerly, Travis
