[android-developers] Turn-on WifiDirect programmatically and set a WPA password?

Dear Android Developers,

1. I searched through the whole WifiDirect API android.net.wifi.p2p but i could not find a way to enable/disable the WifiDirect function programmatically. Does somebody know a way or is this feature not possible?
   
   
2. Also is it possible to create a WPA connection password so that the host does not have to aprove/permit every device trying to connect.
