Same situation here. My experience I got disconnected from adb from time to time. When multiple devices is worst but with one device it happens at least once or twice a day. That is with windows. On ubuntu i usually use the emulator so.don't see it much.
When happens. Sometimes with adb kill-server then adb devices it shows. Other I just physically unplug an plug back in.
