[android-developers] getting assets file in Uri ......FileNotFoundException

Hi all,
I am not getting what is wrong here in the following statement. Please tell if anyone know about the cause of this behaviour.

mUris[0]=Uri.parse("file:///android_asset/bottom_logo.png");

I am getting FileNotFoundException for the above statement.
Am I giving the wrong path or something else is the problem?

I do have this image in my assets folder, and put a lot of efforts to find the solution, but still unsuccessful.

Please, let me know what I am doing wrong.
