[Google Maps API v2] Re: Highlight railways on google maps

Hi William,
Could you do the same trick for Belgium?
Our volunteers need to travel a lot by train in Belgium and it would make life a lot easier if we could see the cities and towns in the vicinity of a railroad station.

in V3 it's easier to highlight features using Styled Maps.  However
railways only appear on the base map from zoom 11, so you can't see
them when zoomed out.

You could add a KML layer of the railway lines.  I found some railway
data on the ESRI Data and Maps DVD and made a V3 map of the railways
in Spain with red lines, on top of a Google Styled Map in black and
white.  Also if you zoom into a city you will see the Google railway
lines (and other transit lines) in red:
