Nothing useful there, they just list the wonderful services you can use with
the app.

It doesn't work on a international Galaxy Nexus saying it doesn't support
'osaifu keitai' (the Japanese FeliCa-based NFC wallet), and generally
FeliCa needs a dedicated SE, so I assume it's checking for the chip.
They use a custom permission (MFC_ACCESS, probably from
MobileFeliCa, so that would mean proprietary interface.
Osaifu keitai has been available on mobiles long before NFC became
standard on Android. Here's a list of supported devices (in Japanese),
but you can see it goes all the way back to 2.1.
