Do you know anything about DB as a service or have any experience of it? Otherwise, please find another thread. please. 

"Database as a service" simply means, stripped of buzzwordiness, that a database is 

exposed as a service to its clients. Kristopher's answers were all directly relevant 

to your question and very helpful, had you assimilated them.

As a disinterested third party I am struck by how helpful Kristopher was 

and how very ungrateful and combative Mark was.

Meanwhile I'm glad to say I learned some things from Kristopher's answers 

that could help me a lot in my Android work.
