Re: Google Maps API v3 support in gwt-google-apis
Thanks Axel,
Best luck with your maps efforts. To address a point you raised:
I am thinking that if I test it and it works at home, so it will also work in production (even if it is a pre-release version). The debate of the documentation is another problem, but as I said, I will need the basic functionalities of the Google Map, and for a more complex project, in 4 or 6 month, I hope that a stable, well documented version will be released.
There is documentation for the GWT-Maps-V3-API online alone with a showcase covering nearly every feature and the most recent builds for download, it seems to me everything you need is there to crank out maps immediately with GWT. While there is the other API from the team working on IDL generation, I've been using and supporting this one since the V3 GWT support has been in flux for years, but this one is here and ready for use for those who need it.
Sincerely,
Joseph
