[android-developers] Where can I find the source code that handles the new "tools:" namespace in ADT?

Where can I find the source code that handles the new "tools:" namespace in ADT 17(and higher)? There is a new tools: namespace since ADT 17,but I can't find any documentations about that.So I want to find out the source code to know how this namespace can be used.Thanks.
