[android-developers] Debug Certificate

Hi guys, I am working on a location aware app that will use Google maps. I need a MD5 Certificate generated by keytool. I followed the instructions however instead of an MD5 certificate the keytool returns a certificate of type SHA1. I need some help, what should I do to generate MD5 instead of SHA1. I am using Linux(Ubuntu  12.04)
