[android-developers] Re: MapView showing up blank with release api key.

I tried creating a clone of the project with a different reverse domain name,
to see if the problem occurred due to the fact that the news app has been published with that name on Google Play.

It behaves the same. So it has got to be about the application somehow, and not about the signatures.
But how come the debug signature works? What else could make the app show a blank map when signed with a release key?
