[android-developers] Re: Android Assets

From API level 9 you can use native code see your:
<ndk>/docs/STABLE-APIS.html

Before level 9 I suggest you use JNI to call back into Java.

I want to add some files in assets folder in android and want to read them from native C code. But the problem is
how to get the path of that file (in java or in C). I don't want to use asset manager to open the file to give support in Android 1.6 too. Plus, I
want to read that file in C for efficiency.

Thanks in Advance
