DatePicker disable dates before minDate

I try to disable days before a given date. Here is the code I am using, but it does not work. When I click days before minDate on datePicker, it will fire onValueChange event of datePicker.

    datePicker.addShowRangeHandler(new ShowRangeHandler<Date>() {

      @Override

      public void onShowRange(ShowRangeEvent<Date> event) {

        Date current = CalendarUtil.copyDate(event.getStart());

        while (current.before(event.getEnd())) {

          if (current.before(minDate)) {

            datePicker.setTransientEnabledOnDates(false, current);

          }

          CalendarUtil.addDaysToDate(current, 1);

        }

      }

    });
