[android-developers] How can this be done

I'm starting on a new app and would like it to support changes in Themes.

I have to draw some lines on the screen - but I'd like it to be visible depending
on the background color of currently selected Theme.

1. How do I find out what the current background color is?
I believe I have to query the attributes.

2. how can i figure out a good color that'll stand out given a dark or a light background.

Ideally - i'd like to take care of this using the run-time selection of res/values sub-folder.

Any help - generally on this topic appreciated.
