[android-developers] Tutorial on creating a view at runtime?

Do you guys know of a simple tutorial for creating a view at runtime? For example, when I launch my app, there is a button in the middle of the activity's layout.  Each time this button is pressed, how would I make a text view appear?

I'm a newb to android programming, so any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
