[Google Maps API v2] Parallel lines gap settings in meters

Dear All,

            I found this link http://matthewschwartz.me/demo/bdcc/bdcc.html. It can draw the parallel lines very well. My issue now is that how to set the gap be in certain number of meters from the center red line. Secondly how do we save its lat long to be like a polygon shape? Thank you.
