Re: ValueProxy loading does not need .with(), contradictory to GWT doc.

I think ValueProxys that are direct properties of an EntityProxy have to be loaded using .with(). When you choose to load the ValueProxy property then the ValueProxy itself contains all data as you cant ask the server for more data of a given ValueProxy as it does not have an identity.
