Deployment to Tomcat

Hi,

 

 

My application works fine in development mode.

But not fetching any data while deploying with tomcat server.

 

Can anyone tell me what is the right way to deploy in tomcat.

 

 

I read through some sites but could not get it....

What I do is, I complile my project,make a .war file with the contents of war folder of my project.

 

Copy this to tomcat and deploy it there...

Is this right?

 

Or should I do any other way?
