Hey guys I downloaded the SDK thing from here http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html because I wanted to test the emulator. The folder is on my desktop, I got into it, go into tools, there's emulator there there's emulatr x86 but when I click on them, a very quick box, a command prompt like box appears and nothing.
How do I get this to open??
Have you read and followed the FM?
http://developer.android.com/tools/devices/emulator.html
(It only takes one question mark to indicate an interrogative.)
You talk about "desktop" and "go into" but you don't say which OS you're using. I assume by "go into" you mean open the directory in some sort of file explorer window.
How are you passing the necessary options to the emulator program?
