Please help in starting up with Django App Template - Just started up with Django

I am starting on a project for classified ad listing site and found a template to get me started( https://github.com/saebyn/django-classifieds ) ,  I have worked on front end languages before but this is my first real project on Django framework and i am having tough time even setting up dev env . I am using virtualenv , Python 2.7 and installed requirements from the project but runserver command is throwing error 

No modules named sorl.thumbnail

Also the installation instruction on git are not clear to me.

I am running short on time and need to setup dev env but stucked.
