[Rails] Errno::ENOENT in Home#index

config.assets.enabled = true

= javascript_include_tag "application", :cache => true

Application boots up correctly by 'rails server' command.

when i go to homepage, i get the following error.

No such file or directory - Asset file not found at '/home/ramiz/projects/hq_channel/public/var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/jquery-rails-2.1.2/vendor/assets/javascripts/jquery.js'

It appears to have concatenated the path to the folder twice before looking for the file.

what i am doing wrong??
