custom authenticate method

Hello,

In the custom authentication documentation, I saw a example of how to authenticate using email address and password.
But, I did not understand how we can authenticate using 3 parameters for eg, [userid, password] from user table and [companyid] (from company table as a foreign key in user table). Also, in my custom user model, can I include foreign key from company table.

Thanks,
Goose
