Donut is API level 4, well below honeycomb, since it was released in 2009.

By the way, you don't *support* different versions, you just get
whatever you're on.

Why do you need tasks to run in parallel? This is probably an
indication you're doing something you shouldn't.

In general it is a very bad idea to *rely* on the system scheduler to
enforce a scheduling policy.
