Hello All,
I'm running django for the first time using the enthought canopy IDE for python. I'm trying to work through the tutorial and although the cmd line tells me I have successfully installed django 1.5.1 . But when I try running django-admin.py startproject [sitename] it just opens up the init file in enthought and skips all the rest. No [sitename] directory is created, none of the other files in the tutorial either. Have tried several Google searches against this, getting bad results.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Are there any obvious mistakes I may be making?

Maybe pathnames which must be added?
