[android-developers] Re: New Google Play Developer Program Policy

I found this one:

http://thenextweb.com/google/2013/08/23/google-updates-play-policies-to-ban-apps-and-ads-modifying-devices-require-games-use-its-in-app-billing-service/

Pretty good analysis.

My thoughts:
"ads must not display advertisements through system level notifications on the user's device"
Is Airpush out of business now?

"Apps and their ads must not add homescreen shortcuts, browser bookmarks, or icons on the user's device as a service to third parties or for advertising purposes."
Is StartApp out of business now too?

"incentives should not be provided to users to rate an app" - I thought that was already in there - but are they enforcing it now?
I've seen lots of apps abuse it.

In general, which ad networks are going to be out of compliance?

Nathan
